INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT 

The Information Management Department at BFU was founded with a resolution of the University Academic Council in 1997. The following are the principal duties of the Department:

• Ensuring software provision for the learning process and providing students with free access to the computer halls at the University;

• Development, installation and maintenance of essential software meeting the requirements of the Rector, the Deans, the Admission Office and the Finance and Accounting Department.

• Maintenance of the University database and provision for the appropriate verification necessary for the proper functioning of BFU;

• Administering the administrative and educational network of the University;

• Providing students, lecturers and employees with access to the Internet;

• Programme and Technical Support for the student recruitment campaign;

• Hardware maintenance at the University.
