Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering
Computer Science Computer Systems and Technologies Business Communication and Computer Systems
The process of study at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering is organised in compliance with the international standards for specialists reading for their bachelor’s and master’s degree and reflects up-to-date trends in higher education. Training is conducted by teams which are guided by lecturers with academic rank from Burgas Free University, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and local universities where students are trained in the same subjects. The curricula conform to the By-law for the unified state requirements for acquiring higher education.
The Faculty offers education in the area of computer science, communication and computer technologies and equipment. All students have free access to the Internet at the computer classes and specialised laboratories. Courses providing the opportunity for system administrators to obtain international certification are held within the CISCO academy at the Faculty.
The Faculty has signed bilateral agreements for student and teaching staff mobility under the Erasmus programme with the Technical University Chemnitz, Germany; University of Essen, Germany; University of San Jorge, Spain; University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau, Germany.
