SPORTS AT BURGAS FREE UNIVERSITY 

I. Organisation 

Sports activities at Burgas Free University are organised in the following two groups:

• Sports activities for all students in which all the staff and students at BFU can participate despite their sports abilities and qualification.
• Specialised sports activities for full-time students who have the necessary qualities and abilities approved by the respective coaches to be included in the various University sports teams.

II.  Structure

The sports activities at BFU are organised and managed by:

1. The University sports Club “BFU” and its executive and management bodies:

• Management council;

• Students consultancy council;

• Chairman of the University sports Club.

2. Sports instructor at BFU

3. Coaches and trainers of the various sports teams

III. Activities

1. Sports included in the sports programme of BFU:

   • Fitness;

   • Aerobics and calanetics;

   • Swimming;

   • Football;

   • Basketball.

2. All students, lecturers and staff at BFU can practise all the sports on the programme free of charge. It is necessary that they submit their students books or membership cards (lecturers and staff) verified by BFU.

3. The programme of the training sessions is announced on the notice board in the University lobby (next to the bookshop).
