CISCO academy

The CISCO Academy at Burgas Free University is a local academy of CISCO Networking Academy – a global educational programme for training in the area of network technologies, which provides courses and gives opportunities to all who are interested in developing specialized skills for designing, creating and maintaining computer networks. CISCO Networking Academy consists of 9000 academies in 170 countries worldwide. Graduates from the CISCO Academy are awarded an international certificate, recognized by the business, which allows for enhanced career opportunities on the market of network specialists.


The CISCO Academy at Burgas Free University provides opportunities for acquiring the following levels of certification: 

  • CCNA Exploration 1: Network Fundamentals
  • CCNA Exploration 2: Routing Protocols and Concepts
  • CCNA Exploration 3: LAN Switching and Wireless
  • CCNA Exploration 4: Accessing the WAN


The CCNA certificates for network experts provide information for a variety of skills for installing, configurating, managing and solving problems of medium-size networks, as well as installing and testing links in WAN networks. The courses for certification of network administrators held at the CISCO Academy at Burgas Free University are conducted by lecturers at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, who are certified CISCO instructors.
