Programme Profile:
The graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering in Industry and Tourism acquire interdisciplinary preparation in different engineering fields. They can manage complex engineering projects in full and the processes of operation of energy, mechanical, construction, computer, software and other systems; they can introduce modern hardware and software systems for robotization, monitoring and energy efficiency. The main goal of the programme is to train experts who know each aspect of a certain project, for example: energy specifications, engineering system specifications, structural specifications, automation systems, software applications and energy management.
Practical Training and Internship:
Provided is a specialized practice, which is a part of the curriculum, as well as practical training in IT companies. The students are given the opportunity to be trained abroad within the Erasmus+ programme, as well as to take part in the clubs of Programming, Robotics, etc. Courses providing the opportunity for system administrators to obtain international certification are held within the CISCO academy at the Faculty.
Student Mobility:
The European programme Erasmus+ provides opportunities to the students to receive a grant and study abroad at our partner universities in the UK, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Greece and Turkey.

The graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering in Industry and Tourism are employable as leading engineering specialists in the industry and tourism; functional specialists of industrial enterprises, transport, building and tourist companies. They can work in the field of energy management and efficiency; as specialists of the theory of the development and application of the risk technological systems; they can put in practice their knowledge and skills into various fields of business, consulting activities, engineering practice, company management, state and local administration as organizers and managers of various units requiring technical training and preparation.
Admission:
Admission of Bulgarian students is based on their matriculation exam grades or entrance exam grades.
Admission of international students is based on their secondary education diploma allowing them access to higher education in their country of origin.
