Cisco Academy

Cisco offers a diverse range of courses through its academies, each of which leads to an international certificate.
All courses are divided into modules of 70 hours. All Cisco academies teach the same lectures, prepared by Cisco specialists. The academies receive the lectures as a donation from Cisco, but the educational process itself takes place in the academies, not in the Cisco office. Each academy determines its own prices per module, making discounts for students at its discretion. For the CCNA networking course, you need to complete 4 modules, which can be completed in no less than 6 months. The Professional level courses (CCNP) have a correspondingly higher price per module.
Cisco Academies determine their own course schedules. Courses are held continuously, regardless of the academic year. They are offered on weekends, in the evenings, during the summer vacation for students, etc. According to Cisco rules, course materials cannot be provided to students on any medium. They are only accessible via the Internet, from where they are accessible throughout the course.
The courses consist of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is taught to the students by the lecturers most often in the form of multimedia presentations. Their goal is to convey the most important of the online lectures for the relevant level of the Cisco Networking Academy according to the requirements of Cisco. The course materials are not provided to the students on any medium. They are accessible only via the Internet, and during the period in which the course is active, the students' access to them is unlimited (i.e. they can be used for self-study and extracurricular activities). The practical exercises are held in the relevant academy, which is obliged to have the appropriate equipment for the purpose, under the guidance of certified teachers.
As students of the Network Academy, students gain practical experience in the information and communication technologies that drive the world today. They also gain experience in e-learning, as the program uses the latest Internet technologies, with the help of which most of the course is transferred directly to the personal computer. This encourages new educational techniques and is a revolutionary new educational model that uses the advantages and advances of Internet technologies to expand and deepen the knowledge of the students. The Cisco program is based on the three educational pillars: curriculum, training and assessment. Instead of only through the previously known textbooks, this e-learning transmits information through multiple formats - from a simple word document to animations and films. You have access to it from your computer at any time you want. But this does not mean that the training is only remote. The role of the teacher is to answer questions, explain errors on midterm tests and conduct practical classes.
The course curriculum does not assume any prior computer or networking knowledge. Students are expected to have good math skills and English reading and writing skills equivalent to A2 or higher, as well as a willingness to study the course material.
