Burgas Free University holds an annual National Conference for Student Scientific Creativity, in which students and doctoral students from BSU and other higher education institutions in the country participate. The conference is held every year in March and is in the following areas: Law and Politics; Administration and Management; Finance and Accounting; Marketing and Management; International Economic Relations; Public Communications (Public Relations and Journalism); Psychology; Social Activities; Techniques and Technologies; Informatics; Renewable Energy Sources. Within the framework of the student scientific conference, BSU holds a competition for a lecturer from BSU with the supervision of the most and most qualitatively developed and defended abstracts.
Students from BSU undergo a preliminary defense of the abstracts in an internal circle within the center, with the nominees taking part in the National Conference for Student Scientific Creativity. The students who have qualified have the opportunity to participate in student scientific forums at other universities. The reports of students and doctoral students from other universities must be signed by their scientific supervisor and have a short review. The best developments presented at the conference are published in a special scientific publication.
