Burgas Free University is organising the International Scientific Conference “Digital Transformation, Media and Inclusion”. It will be held in the form of webinar on June 5, 2020 and in its focus will be the economic, regulatory, technological and societal aspects of the arising innovations resulting from the digital transformation.
The conference incorporates results and activities of the project “Bulgarian Language in the Social Media” under the National Science Fund of Bulgaria, and will be attended by the BFU partners from Estonia, Russian Federation, Portugal, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro etc. In the frame of the conference the initiative for establishing the “South Eastern Digital Innovation Hub” under the new EC launched programme “Digital Europe” will be shared, and a meeting of the core group of the EU COST Action “Multi-Disciplinary Innovation for Social Change (SHIINE)” will be held. The conference is incorporated in the last days of the “Erasmus+ International Teaching and Training Week” at BFU – June 2-6, 2020 and the participants may join referring https://www.bfu.bg/en/mezhdunarodna-deynost/erasmus/bfu-erasmus-international-teaching-and-training-week-for-programme-and-partner-countries
The conference proceedings are registered in the National Reference List of Contemporary Bulgarian Scientific Publications with Scientific Review of the National Centre for Information and Documentation – NACID and will be available in parallel to the printed book online in the ceeol.com database.

- Early bird conference fee transfer deadline - May 10, 2020

Registration with abstracts and papers submission guidelines:
Submission of registration should be made only through the platform HERE! , with abstract upload in a word file. The abstract shall not exceed 100 words and should provide a statement of the purpose and procedures of the study, including major conclusions of the research. Notification to the authors/speakers - in a week after the abstract submission at the email address of the authors used in the application form.
All papers submitted should be typed in Times New Roman (10 point) with single-spacing and should not exceed 8 pages (5 000 words) MS Word documents. The address, contact numbers and email of the author(s) should be clearly stated in the first page. The submission of papers (cases) to be published and inquiries are to be directed at conf@bfu.bg only. All the papers and cases will be published in proceedings and sent to the addresses indicated in the application form after the end of the conference.
Before the Conference, the Erasmus+ International Teaching and Training Week at BFU, and the core group meeting of the EU COST Action “Multi-Disciplinary Innovation for Social Change (SHIINE)” will cross with launching the initiative for establishing a “South Eastern Digital Innovation Hub”.

Participation fees:
The participation fee is EUR 90, to be transferred to the bank account of BFU: IBAN: BG53BUIN78551480025826; BIC: BUINBGSF, Allianz Bank Bulgaria, BSU, reason: participation at the conference; with the names of the participant, and the institution. The invoices will be delivered at the registration day of the Conference or if requested in advance - up to 2 days after the request.
BFU provides the following discounts:
- The participants in the Bulgarian language in the social media thematic field will not be charged with participation fees;
- For the fees paid in the early registration (transferred up to April 20, 2020) – 20% discount of the fees;
- For the regular fees paid (May 15, 2020), for participation (at the venue) of additional co-author of the same paper –an extra 20% discount per each additional co-author over the regular fee;
- For the regular fees paid (May 15, 2020), for including an additional paper of the participant – an extra 20% discount per each additional paper over the regular fee.
