My Zwickau Story
Hello everyone, my name is Anna Kirova and I am a second year Bachelor student in International Economic Relations (IER) at Burgas Free University (BFU). During the winter semester of 2021/2022 I am an Erasmus+ student in Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (West Saxon University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau).
In this period of time I learnt truly interesting subjects, which I am sure I will need in my future career. What’s more, I have broadened my point of view in many aspects. I have faced with more than 50 different nationalities. I’ve made lot of friendships all over the world and learned fascinating facts for their countries.
Furthermore, in my free time, I love to hang out with my new friends. We go to different restaurants, museums and enjoy travelling together around Germany. We, as students of Westsächsische Hochschule, have the opportunity to travel for free in the whole Saxony, so we explored several times Leipzig, Dresden, Chemnitz and Halle. Moreover, I bought few times tickets to Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Mainz. All the cities are stunning. Each of them has its own charm and character, so I was thrilled to see as much as it is possible. Withal, it was during winter, I had the ability to see the German Christmas and how they celebrate it in all the cities above. Every city has its own style of decorations and atmosphere. It was a magical experience.
I can say that all lectures were interesting and innovative. I made a lot of friendships, which I believe would last forever. I learnt much about different cultures, traditions and tastes. And explored Germany. And since my lectures from BFU were online, I had the ability to take part in them, too. I managed to take all my exams from Westsächsische Hochschule and Burgas Free University at the same time without any problems.
I am really thankful for having that opportunity and would look forward for more occasions as this one.
