BFU students and students from its clubs at VR Hackathon‘25

On June 25 and 26, students from Burgas Free University and high school students, with clubs and teachers from the university are invited by the organizers of the Black Sea Game Summit to participate in VR Hackathon 2025 - a 48-hour hybrid challenge for the development of virtual experiences on the topic "Cybersecurity and resilience against cybercrime". The project is implemented by CreaTech Bulgaria and Knowledge Foundation (Switzerland), in partnership with Burgas Municipality, with the support of UNODC, Web3 Foundation and Burgas Lab.

The hackathon is open to young people over 16 years of age with an interest in technology, design and programming, whether individually or in a team, in person in Burgas or online. The hackathon will take place at the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library - a space for work, ideas and collaboration.

The grand prize is an opportunity for the winners to present their project at the UN Conference in Vietnam, which will take place on October 25–26, 2025 in Hanoi. The second and third prizes cover tickets to the Web3 Summit in Berlin (July 16–18, 2025) and participation in a blockchain challenge. The award ceremony will take place on June 28 at 3:30 PM, at the International Congress Center – Burgas (ICCB), during the Black Sea Game Summit.
