National Student Competition in Solving a Private Law Case at BFU

On May 17, the Center for Legal Studies at BFU will host the National Interuniversity Case Solving Competition in the field of civil and commercial law for the twelfth time. The competition is organized by the Department of Civil Law Sciences at the Center for Legal Sciences at BFU. Its creator and long-time leader is prof. Dr. Silvi Chernev, assisted in the organization of the event by Assoc. Dr. Anna Cholakova, Assoc. Dr. Krasimir Koev, Assist. ace. Prof. Dr. Daniela Zareva and by Filip Radinov - a judge in the District Court of Burgas and a graduate of the Youth Center at BFU, and currently - the main mentor of the teams of BFU. Student teams from all law faculties in the country traditionally participate in the competition, and a jury composed of lecturers from the participating universities and practicing lawyers evaluates their achievements in law and oratory.

This year Burgas Free University will be represented in the prestigious competition by the most prominent participants in the Circle of Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Economics at BFU.  On behalf of the organizing committee of the event, we invite all interested students and lecturers to join this celebration of legal thinking and eloquence, in which the best law students from all over the country will take part. The opening is on May 17 at 8 a.m. in the Atrium of BFU. The hearing of the teams of the first round will begin at 9.30 am in Hall 207. The final phase between the qualified teams is expected to start around 2 p.m. in the same hall.
