BFU is part of the "Love our seas and oceans" initiative
The Burgas Free University invites you to an inspiring meeting, part of the initiative of the DOORS partners for the Black Sea "Love our seas and oceans".
The event will take place on February 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the BSU building.
Why get involved?
The event is part of the large-scale initiative under the project "Development of optimal and open support for research in the Black Sea (DOORS)", funded under the Horizon 2020 program. Within this initiative, young enthusiasts from six Black Sea countries - Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey and Moldova, with love for the Black Sea.
What will happen?
Science up close - a meeting with leading scientists and teachers from BSU, who will present the latest discoveries about the Black Sea and its ecosystem.
Interactive discussion - using the Mentimeter survey tool to measure attitudes and expand ocean literacy through real-time voting and sharing of ideas.
Creative workshop - participants will develop their own projects and initiatives for the protection of the marine environment, which they will present to the audience.
The goal?
Let's show that love for seas, oceans and nature is no less important than any other form of love! We will encourage responsible behavior towards the marine ecosystem, expand environmental literacy and inspire young people to become ambassadors of the Black Sea.
