Programme Profile:
In the Master’s degree programme in Accounting students acquire fundamental knowledge and skills about the methodology and organization of accounting, the design of systems for financial and management accountancy; systems for diagnostics, due warning and minimizing of the operative and financial risk; applying of accounting standards as well as audit standards and current tax legislation. Education also focuses on the specificity of accounting in different branch fields as the organization of accountancy in insurance associations, agriculture, transport, construction business. Graduates in the Master’s degree programme in Accounting can be successfully employed upon graduation as: chief accountants, financial managers, trade and economic directors; university lecturers, research scholars, auditors, tax, credit and investment consultants, heads of tax administrative and budget distributive offices etc.
Requirements and Length of Study:
Graduates in professional fields 3.7. Administration and Management and 3.8. Economics study for two semesters (one year) and write a Master’s thesis. Graduates in other professional fields can enroll in the Programme after passing a foundation (preparatory) module of subjects.
Admission:
Admission is based on a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Diploma.
