Programme Profile:
Students in the Master’s degree programme in Finance acquire knowledge about the specificity of financial and capital markets, modern financial instruments, bank, financial and insurance management and controlling. They gain skills of applying the methods of: management of risk, management accountancy, forecasting, which makes them capable of making rational decisions at micro- and macro-economic level and to be methodologists concerning the development of information necessary for the decision making processes. Graduates in the Master’s degree programme in Finance can be employable upon graduation as: managers of investment, pension and privatization funds and insurance associations, managers of trade investment and clearing banks; directors of financial departments of government organizations and agencies as well as of local government organizations; financial managers of corporations, superior tax administrators, superior customs administrators.
Requirements and Length of Study:
Graduates in professional fields 3.7. Administration and Management and 3.8. Economics study for 2 semesters (one year) and write a Master’s thesis. Graduates in other professional fields can enroll in the Programme after passing a foundation (preparatory) module of subjects.
Admission:
Admission is based on a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Diploma.
