Programme Profile:
The Master programme in Child and Adolescent Psychology provides students with profound knowledge in the field of child and adolescent psychology, within norm or pathology, as well as with knowledge about the recent achievements of Psychology in the following spheres: behavioral motivation in adolescence; individual differences in the mental development (gifted children and children with abnormalities); relationships in the family; school psychology and counseling; psychodiagnostics of child development. Masters of Child and Adolescent Psychology can work in the sphere of education, in health facilities and hospitals, in the psychological counselling departments of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, in the subdivisions of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defence, in NGOs, in the government and state administration, in the judicial system, in social institutions and organizations.
Requirements and Length of Study:
Bachelors in professional fields 3.2 Psychology study for 2 semesters (one year) and write a Master’s thesis. Graduates in other professional fields can enroll in the Programme after passing a foundation (preparatory) module of subjects.
Admission:
Admission is based on a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Diploma.
