BFU and RIO Burgas Host Festive Tournament for the Rector and Principals' Cup

In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Burgas Free University (BSU), in partnership with the Regional Management of Education (RIO) – Burgas, is organizing a festive table tennis tournament. The event will feature the personal participation of secondary school principals from Burgas Municipality. Titled "The Rector and Principals' Cup," the tournament regulations state that each school must be represented by its principal alongside a second player—a teacher or staff member from the same school who is of the opposite sex. The goal is to ensure gender balance: if the principal is a woman, the second player must be a man; if the principal is a man, the second player cannot also be a man.

The competition will take place in the 1st-floor lobby of BSU (the second level above the entrance). The opening ceremony is scheduled for September 10 at 2:00 PM, and the closing ceremony will be on September 12 at 11:30 AM. The registration deadline is August 20, 2026.
