BFU Honors Inspiring Teachers and Educational Institutions

Burgas Free University announces the awarded teachers, pedagogical teams, and educational institutions in the National Competition for Best Pedagogical Practices "Learning with a Future – Experience, Technology, and Support for Child Development." The competition is organized by BFU in cooperation with the Municipality of Burgas and the Regional Management of Education – Burgas.

The initiative brought together pedagogical specialists and educational institutions from various regions of the country, who presented innovative approaches, creative solutions, and effective models for learning, development, and support for every child.

The submitted practices showcase the richness of contemporary Bulgarian education and the teachers' commitment to creating an inspiring educational environment where children and students discover, explore, create, and develop their abilities.

The competition entries were evaluated in four thematic areas:

• Experiential learning, play, and creativity;
• STEM, STEAM, and digital educational technologies;
• Social-emotional learning and value-based education;
• Inclusive education and support for the development of every child.

The evaluation process focused on the innovativeness and originality of the pedagogical ideas, the active participation of children and students, the results achieved, and the possibilities for applying and sharing best pedagogical practices.

Along with individual awards for teachers and pedagogical teams, institutional awards have been provided to highlight the overall contribution of kindergartens, schools, and educational organizations to the development of a qualitative, innovative, and inclusive educational environment.

The presentation and award ceremony for the selected best pedagogical practices will take place on October 28, 2026, at Burgas Free University. The event will provide an opportunity for the awarded teachers and pedagogical teams to share their ideas, experience, and achievements, as well as to present applicable pedagogical solutions to the academic and educational community.

With this initiative, Burgas Free University reaffirms its role as an active partner to educational institutions, creating a space for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of successful pedagogical models.
