BFU Hosts the Panorama of Secondary Education
As tradition dictates, Burgas Free University is once again the host of the Panorama of Secondary Education – a well‑established initiative that brings together students, parents, and representatives of Burgas high schools and secondary schools to support an informed choice for future education and professional development.
This year’s edition of the forum is held under the motto “Choose Today. Succeed Tomorrow” and presents the most up‑to‑date profiles, specialties, and professions offered by schools in the region. The initiative is organized by the Regional Department of Education – Burgas, and the event took place on 11 and 12 May 2026 in the university building.
The official opening was conducted by the Deputy Mayor for Education, Healthcare, Social Activities and Youth Policies, Mihail Nenov; the Head of the Regional Department of Education – Burgas, Valentina Kamalieva; and the Rector of Burgas Free University, Prof. Milen Baltov.
During the two‑day panorama, 26 educational institutions present their educational opportunities to students from 6th and 7th grade and their parents. Visitors have the opportunity to explore innovative specialties, modern professional fields, and development prospects, as well as to receive guidance on choosing suitable education in the high‑school stage.
As a university with an active social and educational mission, and in the year of its 35th anniversary, Burgas Free University continues to support initiatives aimed at career orientation and the development of young people. Hosting the Panorama of Secondary Education is part of the university’s consistent commitment to the educational environment in the region and to building a sustainable link between school and higher education.
The Panorama of Secondary Education continues to establish itself as an important forum for students, parents, and educational institutions, providing accessible and up‑to‑date information about opportunities for education and future career development in Burgas and the region.
