BFU launches "Become a Micro-Scientist" for students at schools towards the microplastics
Burgas Free University has launched in partnership with the Plastic Cup Society, Hungary and the Asociatia "Mai Mult Verde", Romania, the project "Become a Micro-Scientist!" (MISC). It is funded by Erasmus+, KA210-SCH – Small Partnerships in School Education, and its main objective is to engage the school students in research on marine and river pollution caused by microplastics with possible effective solutions.
The project also aims to raise awareness regarding microplastics, with the concept of social responsibility. Within its framework, educational materials will be developed to help an environmentally conscious generation. Effectively it is a part of the wider Pan-European initiative, that BFU had join – Plastic Pirats.
