BFU lecturers completed mobility under the Erasmus + program in Colombia

Lecturers from Burgas Free University visited the University of Burgas (Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios (UNIMINUTO) in Colombia. This is the largest university in the country, and it educates over 106 thousand students. With the success of its graduates, academic achievements and active research, it has established itself among the most prestigious universities in South America.
In the period from 3 to 9 March 2025, Assoc. Dr. Todor Kostadinov from the Center for Informatics and Technical Sciences and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zlatina Dimitrova from the Center for Humanities visited the Belo Antioquia compass, located in the city of Sofia. Medellin. The two lecturers delivered public lectures on current topics in their scientific field to students and lecturers. During the Erasmus+ teaching mobility, they presented BFU, Bulgaria and Burgas to the academic community and participated in a lively discussion dedicated to multiculturalism and global education.
Ass. Dimitrova and Assoc. Prof. Kostadinov met with Father Huberto Obando Gil, rector of the Antioquia-Chocco branch, which also includes the Belo campus. He shared his satisfaction with the opportunity for academic cooperation and expressed his desire for the exchange between the two universities to continue to develop. In this regard, opportunities for future joint initiatives aimed at promoting scientific cooperation, mobility of students and lecturers, as well as the development of innovative educational programs to meet modern academic and social challenges were discussed.
The lecturers from BFU were warmly welcomed at the central campus of UNIMUTO University in the capital Bogotá. There they participated in an interesting discussion with students from different specialties and answered their questions.
