BFU Presented Its Eurodesk Point at a National Forum

The Eurodesk Point at Burgas Free University took part in the national conference “The Eurodesk Network and the DiscoverEU Initiative – What We Can Share”, which brought together representatives from across the country to exchange experience and good practices. The forum was attended by the Rector of Burgas Free University, Prof. Dr. Milen Baltov, who is also the institutional coordinator of the Erasmus Programme, as well as Katina Lukova – contact person for the Eurodesk Network.

The Eurodesk Point at BSU has been operating since 2024 and is the only one in the country located within a university environment. This highlights Burgas Free University’s commitment to providing up‑to‑date information on European mobility opportunities, international programmes, and youth initiatives.

In October 2025, the Eurodesk BSU team implemented a series of initiatives focused on environmental awareness and encouraging active citizenship among young people, contributing to the development of a more engaged, informed, and sustainable youth community.

Participation in the national conference reaffirms BSU’s ambition to remain an active part of the European network, to exchange ideas, and to create new opportunities for young people in the region and across the country.
