BFU students participate in an international BIP program in Krakow, Poland
A group of students from Burgas Free University have begun their participation in the international blended intensive program (BIP) “Modern Perspectives in International Law”, organized by the University of the National Commission for Education in Kraków, Poland.
The program focuses on contemporary challenges and trends in international law and offers a combination of virtual learning (November 17–30, 2025) and short-term physical mobility from December 1–5, 2025 in Kraków.
Students from various BSU programs are taking part, including Viktor Ivelinov Bakalov from the specialty Forensic Economic Expertise, as well as Jayda Sevginova Seidova, Anelia Pencheva Dimitrova, Ivanina Marianova Teneva, Iren Ivanova Hristova, Tanya Marinova Drashkova, and Alexandra Lyubomira Zagorcheva from the specialty Law, together with Teodora Zhelyazkova Deneva from the doctoral program Civil Procedure. Their participation brings together future experts and young researchers striving to develop analytical thinking, legal argumentation, and skills for working in an international academic environment.
The topics covered in the program include key aspects of public and private international law, human rights, international institutions, and the role of legal norms in a globalizing world. Through interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, and teamwork, students will acquire competencies valuable both for their future professional careers and for their research activities.
Participation in this BIP program is an opportunity for BSU students to broaden their legal perspective, exchange experience with international professors and colleagues, and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of one of Europe’s most beautiful academic centers – the city of Kraków. The program opens doors to new knowledge, professional contacts, and inspiration for even bolder professional development.
