Children's imagination and creativity once again conquered the Burgas Free University. Within the framework of the Third Children's Drawing Competition "Me in a Fairytale World", 144 children between the ages of 4 and 7 showed their fairy-tale worlds, transformed on a white sheet into a colorful palette of fantasy and a lot of inspiration. Graduates of 27 kindergartens from the Municipality of Burgas participated in the creative competition. A jury with chairwoman Dotka Kalacheva and members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zlatina Dimitrova and Dr. Eli Dragolova distinguished the most impressive drawings.

The exhibition of children's works was traditionally opened with a colorful carnival of fairy-tale characters. The sunny smiles of nearly 100 children brightened the atrium of the university. Princess Elsa, Cunning Peter, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, the Brave Viking, Pippi Longstocking, Robin Hood and dozens of other beloved characters from fairy tales and animations came to life in a colorful parade.

Among the official guests of the celebration were the rector of BSU Prof. Dr. Milen Baltov, the vice-rector Prof. Dr. Maria Aleksieva, Ms. Darina Dimitrova - assistant rector for academic activities and accreditation, Ms. Slava Gizdova-Petkova - senior expert in Bulgarian language and literature at the Department of Early Childhood Education - Burgas.

The competition and carnival are part of the initiatives in the Month of the Children's Book, organized by the Student Club "Mission TEACHER" at the Center for Humanities of BSU. The little guests were warmly welcomed by the students - future educators. They introduced them to magical studios, where the children created, played and had their pictures taken

The event turned BSU into a stage where each child shone like a star from their favorite fairy tale and left unforgettable memories for all participants.
