Cooperation between BFU and Haxhi Zeka University in Kosovo

On July 11, 2025, Burgas Free University welcomed an official delegation from “Kadri Zeka” University, located in the city of Gjilan, Republic of Kosovo. The main highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two higher education institutions.

The document was signed by Prof. Dr. Milen Baltov, Rector of Burgas Free University, and Prof. Dukagjin Leka, Vice-Rector of “Kadri Zeka” University. The meeting was attended by representatives of the dean’s leadership from the partner university, as well as members of the academic community of BFU.

With the signing of the memorandum, both universities commit to strengthening and expanding their partnership, with a focus on scientific research, student mobility, and the organization of joint conferences, symposia, and research projects.

This strategic collaboration will contribute to the development of the educational process, foster innovation, and open new opportunities for interdisciplinary and international initiatives.
