Current Practical Issues in the Application of the ZODOV – Seminar at BFU

On 19 June 2026 at 09:30 a.m., a specialized seminar titled “Current Practical Issues in the Application of the ZODOV” will be held in Hall “East” at Burgas Free University.

The event is organized by the Union of Jurists in Bulgaria, the Burgas branch of the UJB, and the Center for Legal Studies at BSU.

The lecturer at the seminar will be Krasimir Mashev, Judge at the Supreme Court of Cassation. The training will address current issues related to the liability of the prosecution and the courts for damages caused to individuals and legal entities as a result of unlawful actions or omissions by judicial authorities, as well as the factual elements of the state’s tort liability under the ZODOV.

The seminar is intended for lawyers, judges, attorneys, prosecutors, researchers, and law students who are interested in current case law and the application of the ZODOV.
