Erasmus+ meets the digital world at BSU with participants from 4 countries
From June 4 to 8, 2025, Burgas Free University is hosting an inspiring international meeting - Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) under the Erasmus+ program. Students and lecturers from Latvia, Romania, Poland and Bulgaria are gathering at BSU to explore the topics of digital identity, creativity in the online space and media literacy.
The grand opening took place on June 4 at BSU with the participation of the university's academic leadership, professors from the psychology and pedagogy programs, as well as the lecturers involved in the program. The guests were welcomed with a welcoming speech and interactive activities by the Rector of BSU - Prof. Dr. Milen Baltov. The day continued with an interactive tour of the university and inspiring presentations under the motto "My University, My Digital World".
The program includes interactive lectures by professors from partner international universities from 4 continents and thematic workshops such as “Digital Footprints and Creative Imprints”, “My Digital Me”, “Networked Faces” and “Truth or Illusion: Media and Digital Reality”, which examine the challenges and opportunities of digital identity, creativity and media literacy.
Participants have the opportunity to learn and share experiences, as well as to experience the rich cultural environment of Burgas and the region - with walks to ancient Nessebar, a dinner with a panoramic view and a special Gala Dinner with the taste of "Erasmus+".
The program ends with presentations of the creative results and a certificate ceremony. Participants leave not only with new knowledge and skills, but also with inspiration, new ideas and international contacts.
The mixed intensive program is part of the Erasmus+ initiatives and proves that international cooperation, creativity and digital literacy go hand in hand towards the future of education.
