Financial skills for success: meetings of students with experts from UniCredit Bulbank

Within the framework of a joint initiative between the Student Center for Career and Development at BFU and representatives of UniCredit Bulbank, on April 2, 2025, meetings on the topic "Financial Literacy" were held, in which students from different specialties participated. The lecturers from the bank – Mr. Petar Petrov, Regional Director of Retail Banking for the South-East Region, Mr. Diyan Trendafilov, Regional Expert "Investment Products" for the Region of Stara Zagora, and Ms. Tanya Simeonova, Regional Expert Payroll Clients for the South-East Region – presented real cases and topical topics that are directly related to the financial culture of young people. Among the highlights of the presentations were: basic principles in personal finance management, different types of investments, the advantages of investing in mutual funds, preparation of an investment plan, as well as reliable sources of information in the field of investments. The event was held in a dialogical atmosphere, in which students actively participated with questions comments. Such initiatives show the growing interest of young people in topics related to financial independence and responsible management of personal finances.
