Lecturers and doctoral students from BFU took an active part in the first winter school held within the framework of the European university alliance EUNICoast.

Lecturers and doctoral students from Burgas Free University participated actively in the first winter school of the EUNICoast European University Alliance, organized by the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain).

The winter school brought together representatives of partner universities from across Europe and offered an intensive program dedicated to inclusion, educational innovation, digital technologies, and creative expression in contemporary educational and social contexts.

Burgas Free University was represented by distinguished lecturers and young researchers who joined both as speakers and as active participants in discussions and practical sessions. BSU lecturers in the program included Prof. Maria Alexieva, D.Sc., Assoc. Prof. Krasimira Mineva, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Minchev, PhD, Assist. Prof. Kamelia Staneva, PhD, Gergana Kirova – Head of the International Office, as well as PhD candidates Aleksandra Staneva and Irina Mishkova-Yotova.

The program of the winter school also included BSU PhD candidates Ivet Dakova, Hristo Krastev, and Tanya Shopova, who took part in lectures, workshops, and international teams focused on exchanging good practices and developing research and teaching competencies.

The participation of BSU lecturers and doctoral students in the first EUNICoast winter school is another step in strengthening the university’s position as an active partner in the European academic space and contributes to internationalization, the quality of education, and the development of the university’s scientific potential.
