Opening of the 2026/2027 Academic Year
Burgas Free University will open the 2026/2027 academic year with a solemn ceremony on October 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the BFU atrium. The ceremony will be attended by the Rector’s and Deans’ leaderships, members of the BFU Board of Trustees, members of the Academic Council, the faculty, PhD students, and students from the Master’s and Bachelor’s programs at BFU.
Starting from 11:00 AM, immediately after the official opening, introductory meetings for first-year students will be held with the Deans' leaderships by centers, as follows:
- Center for Humanities – in the BFU Aula;
- Center for Legal Sciences – in Room 110;
- Center for Economic and Management Sciences – in Room 207;
- Center for Informatics and Technical Sciences – in Room 208.
During these meetings, first-year students will receive their student ID books, as well as detailed instructions on accessing BFU's informational and organizational resources.
