BFU to Host a Scientific and Practical Seminar on the New Amendments to the CC and the CPC

A seminar themed "Recent Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) and the Criminal Code (CC)" will be held on November 13, 2026, starting at 9:30 AM in the "Iztok" (East) Hall of the Burgas Free University.

The event is jointly organized by the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Burgas Free University, the Union of Bulgarian Jurists, and the Burgas Branch of the Union of Bulgarian Jurists.

The keynote speaker at the seminar will be Krasimir Shekerdzhiev, a judge at the Supreme Court of Cassation.

The seminar will review the latest legislative amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code and the Criminal Code. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss current issues related to the application of the new provisions and their impact on judicial practice.

The seminar is aimed at practicing lawyers, lecturers, PhD students, and law students who are interested in the latest changes in criminal legislation.
