Recent Amendments to the CPC and the CC – Theme of a Seminar at BFU

A seminar on "Recent Amendments to the CPC and the CC" will be held on November 13, 2026, at 9:30 AM in the "Iztok" (East) Hall of the Burgas Free University.

The event is jointly organized by:

• The Center for Legal Sciences at Burgas Free University (BFU)
• The Union of Jurists in Bulgaria
• The Society of the Union of Jurists in Bulgaria – Burgas branch

The keynote speaker of the seminar will be Krasimir Shekerdzhiev, a judge at the Supreme Court of Cassation.

The seminar will examine the latest legislative changes in the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) and the Criminal Code (CC). The event will provide an opportunity to discuss current issues regarding the implementation of the new provisions and their impact on judicial practice.

The seminar is aimed at practicing lawyers, lecturers, PhD students, and law students interested in current developments in criminal legislation.
