Together on 24 May – BFU in the spirit of knowledge, tradition and 35 years of development

Dear lecturers, staff members and students of Burgas Free University,

On the occasion of 24 May – the brightest Bulgarian holiday – we invite you to join the festive citywide procession with which we will honor the work of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture.

Let us be together – inspired by the power of knowledge and united by our respect for Bulgarian traditions.

This year as well, Burgas Free University will take part in the ceremonial procession, and in 2026 we also celebrate the 35th anniversary of the University’s founding – an occasion to reaffirm that education and spirituality continue to hold an important place today as a path to development and meaning.

Gathering time: 10:10 a.m. Start of the procession: 10:30 a.m.
