With a focus on digital twins, BSU once again hosts a conference of the largest university in Malaysia

Burgas Free University will host the 7th edition of the International Conference on Governance and Strategic Management (ICGSM), which will take place from 11 to 13 June 2026 under the theme “Digital Twins for a Circular Future”. The event is jointly organized by the Institute of Accounting and Investment Research at the largest university in Southeast Asia – MARA University of Technology (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), and the Center for Economic and Management Sciences (CEMS) at BSU. After successful editions in Kuala Lumpur, Manchester, Seoul and Oxford, our university once again has the honor of hosting this prestigious forum, this time on the occasion of its 35th anniversary.

The conference will bring together leading scholars, doctoral students and business representatives from various countries who will exchange ideas and best practices in the fields of governance, strategic decision-making and digital transformation. The main thematic areas include digital twins, digital transformation and sustainable economy; strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship; artificial intelligence, data and computer sciences; engineering and technical applications of digital technologies; legal, ethical and regulatory aspects of digitalization; as well as education, pedagogy and the psychological dimensions of the digital environment. The working language of the conference is English, and participants will have the opportunity to present research, engage in discussions and build international partnerships in the field of modern governance and sustainable development.
