With gratitude to the teachers who create education with a future
On the occasion of World Teachers' Day – October 5th, the Center for Humanities at Bourgas Free University extends its warmest congratulations to all teachers, pedagogical specialists, and educational teams who, with professionalism, inspiration, and responsibility, create an environment for the development of every child.
Today, we have another special reason to say THANK YOU!
On September 15, 2026, the submission period closed for the competition of good pedagogical practices titled "Learning with a Future – Experience, Technology, and Support for Child Development". The competition was organized on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the founding of Bourgas Free University by the Center for Humanities, in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas and the Regional Department of Education – Burgas.
The interest in this initiative has been impressive – 130 participants joined the competition, including 82 representatives from kindergartens and 48 representatives from primary schools.
Behind these numbers are teachers and pedagogical teams who chose to share their professional experience, ideas, and effective solutions. The submitted entries present a diverse range of pedagogical practices related to experiential learning and play, the development of social-emotional skills, STEM approaches, the use of digital technologies with educational value, and support for the overall development of the child.
For us, every shared practice is valuable. It carries the experience of the teacher, the curiosity of the children, the power of pedagogical interaction, and the confidence that education thrives when good ideas are shared.
Thank you to all participants for your trust in this initiative!
Thank you for opening the door to your pedagogical practice and showing how ideas turn into experiences, knowledge, and opportunities for development.
On World Teachers' Day, we wish you health, professional fulfillment, inspiration, and that profound sense of purpose that comes from witnessing the success of every child.
Happy World Teachers' Day!
Continue to create education with a vision for the future!
The award ceremony for the competition will take place on October 28, 2026. One week prior, the names of all award winners and invited participants, along with details regarding the exact time and location of the event, will be published on the website of Bourgas Free University.
Play. Emotion. Knowledge. Learning with a future.
