XXXVIII Republican Student Programming Olympiad

On May 8 and 9, 2026, the Technical University of Gabrovo became a scene of intellect, ambition and youthful enthusiasm during the XXXVIII Republican Student Programming Olympiad.

Among the best talents in the country, the students from the Burgas Free University also performed with dignity, participating with two teams — a symbol of inspiration, hard work and strong team spirit: BFU_BOYS: Andrey Dimitrov, Zdravko Zhelyazkov, Zlatko Damyanov and BFU_GIRLS: Teodora Yaneva, Ilina Kostadinova, Tanya Alexandrova.

Behind their success are dedicated mentors and true professionals — Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Minchev from the Burgas Free University and Stoyan Uzunov, Principal Software Engineer at Commerzbank, who not only prepared them, but also inspired them to surpass their own limits.

The students' preparation took place in an atmosphere of cooperation, challenges, and creativity at the Competitive Programming Club - a place where ideas turn into solutions, and talent into confidence.

With their energy and spirit, the participants from BSU did not just participate in the competition - they defended the name of the university with honor and dignity, proving that the future of technology has its bright representatives here.
