The tuition fees are paid each semester.
The student loans help to finance the education of the students and the PhD students. They are guaranteed by the state, with low interest, no taxes and with a grace period up to one year since the first date of the last state exam session. The students are allowed to receive bank loans under special conditions according to the Bulgarian Student Loans Act.
The scholarships paid to the students of Burgas Free University are provided within the project BG051PO001-4.2.06 "Student Scholarships" under the Operational Programme ‘Human Resources Development’, co-funded by the European Social Fund.
STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE
Every year Burgas Free University organizes the National Student Research Conference in which undergraduates and PhD students of Burgas Free University and students from other universities participate with their research papers. The Conference is held annually in March, with the following topic areas: Law and Politics; Administration and Management; Finance and Accounting; Marketing and Management; International Economic Relations; Public Communications (PR and Journalism); Psychology; Social Work; Technics and Technologies; Informatics; Renewable Energy Sources.
The Student Council is a body for protection of the students’ rights and interests at the university, acting according to the Law for Higher Education. It involves students from all faculties and aims at observing the principles of equality, efficiency and utility of higher education and the university autonomy.
BFU tries to stimulate its students to reach great achievements and boost their skills. The university supports various student ideas which would develop their competitive professional advantages and help to form a strong and efficient student community. On the idea of the students were established a student PR Academy, various clubs, workshops, which reflect their interests and aim at developing their talents and practical skills, as well as prepare them for their future professional career.
