Practical Training in a Real Business Environment for CIUN Students

Students from the second, third, and fourth year of all specialties at the Center for Economic and Management Sciences of Burgas Free University took part in an off-site practical training held at the central office of Allianz Bank Bulgaria in Burgas. The lecturers included Mr. Yanko Yankov – Regional Manager and member of the Board of Trustees of Burgas Free University, Mr. Adrian Stoev – Branch Manager, and Ms. Kremena Bineva – Corporate Clients Manager SME, Southeast Region.

The training was conducted in accordance with the approved curriculum for the courses International Monetary and Financial Relations, taught by Prof. Dr. Sava Dimov, and Enterprise Accounting, taught by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gergana Nikolova. The topics presented by the experts sparked strong interest among the students. They raised questions regarding the approval procedure for student loans, as well as the specifics of housing loans. Additional interest was generated by corporate lending with a focus on financing construction activities, foreign exchange operations, tokenization processes, stablecoins, and other current topics.
