The team at Burgas Free University qualifies for the finals of the prestigious “Kristian Takov” competition

The team selected from the Civil and Commercial Law Club at the Center for Legal Studies successfully passed a highly competitive round among 20 teams from six law faculties across the country and qualified for the final stages of the National Civil and Commercial Law Competition “Kristian Takov”, which will take place at the Palace of Justice in Sofia on April 25 and 26.

Nikoleta Petkova – 5th year, Law major, Ekaterina Panina – 3rd year, Martin Trendafilov and Kadir Ibram received well‑deserved recognition for their persistent and dedicated work throughout their studies at the Center for Legal Studies, under the expert guidance of Assistant Philip Radinov – judge at the District Court. Undeniable contribution to their strong preparation in civil and commercial law was also made by the lecturers from the Department of Civil Law Sciences – Prof. Dr. Silvi Chernev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anna Cholakova, Chief Assist. Dr. Daniela Zareva and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Koev.

The National Competition “Kristian Takov” is organized by judges and distinguished scholars in the field of private law, following the highest standards of legal education and practice. This makes the success of our students especially valuable and contributes to strengthening the reputation of the Center for Legal Studies at Burgas Free University as a respected educational institution.
