Programme Profile:
The Master's Program in “Protection of Personal Data and Classified Information” responds to the public need for highly qualified specialists with national security competencies, in particular in the field of classified information protection and protection of personal data.The purpose of the training is to prepare experts with the knowledge and skills to make management decisions, think creatively and be able to manage the processes of protecting personal data and classified information in complex internal and external environments. The training is provided by highly qualified academic staff and practitioners. The syllabus includes courses on national security issues, the system for protection of national security and protection of personal data and classified information. With the acquired knowledge and skills graduates of the master's program can work as: heads of administrative positions in the structures of central and local government, ministries, agencies, public organizations; security services in Bulgaria and other countries on positions that require specific knowledge and skills in protection of personal data and classified information; consultants and experts in public administration, security and public order services; organizers and coordinators in various governmental, non-governmental and scientific organizations relevant to the protection of information.
Requirements and Length of Study:
Graduates in professional fields 3.7. Administration and Management, 3.6. Law, 3.8. Economics and 9.1. National Security study for two semesters (one year) and write a Master’s thesis.
Admission:
Admission is based on a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Diploma.
